Key Economic Development Stakeholders (KEDS)

Roles & Responsibilities
  • The role of each KEDS is to work in a collaborative manner and to grow business investment in Dubbo. 
  • The KEDS agrees to ensure that on-going communication is reciprocal and that the main objective is that the potential business coming to Dubbo is well looked after during the process (re-location; local growth opportunities etc.).
  • All KEDS agree that it is the responsibility of each KEDS to keep in touch with the progress of each enquiry passed on to another KEDS by way of email coping-in, phone calls etc.
  • Each KEDS agrees to meet together with the other KEDS biannually.  The aim of these biannual meetings is to refine current communication processes and have discussions about on-going projects, referrals, issues and opportunities that can be beneficially shared amongst the group.

The above-stated organisations play a crucial role in the economic development of Dubbo. DCDC’s role is to facilitate a coordinated response to economic development.

DCDC has coordinated a biannual economic development forum between the above-stated key economic development stakeholders and has established an Agreement that identify roles, responsibilities, the management and processing of referrals, implementation of procedures, systems and controls to ensure positive outcomes.
